From the artist: This image features a wave coming out of a kānoa and breaking into a ʻapu. The face of the wave has froth-like text "chillin." The background is the kai and two more breaking waves. The kānoa is hugged by ʻawa plants growing around its base, and the whole scene is framed by trees of maiʻa. The image is a little bit loopy/trippy feeling. This image comes from thinking about my "happy places." Going for a surf when conditions are cherry or drinking ʻawa with loved ones are really good feelings.
